Enjoy a warm breakfast in your hotel’s restaurant. Our representative will introduce you to your day tour guide, and together you will leave for a full-day city tour of Delhi.

Old Delhi

Begin with a visit to Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi (1948). Continue to the magnificent Red Fort (1639–48), built by Shah Jahan, the creator of the Taj Mahal, renowned for its intricately carved chambers. Then visit Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, built in the 17th century of red sandstone and white marble. Its vast courtyard and three grand gateways echo the splendor of the Mughal era.

New Delhi

Proceed to Humayun’s Tomb (1565), a masterpiece of Mughal architecture and a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Then visit the Qutab Minar (12th century), a 72-meter-high tower, and nearby, the rust-free Iron Pillar, standing resilient for over 1,500 years. Drive past the majestic India Gate, the war memorial; the Diplomatic Enclave; and government buildings including the President’s House, Parliament House, and the Secretariat (1921–30). Mandawa, located 29 km from Jhunjhunu city, stands at an elevation of 316 metres. Known as the gateway to Shekhawati, it is celebrated for its heritage, art, and cultural grandeur.
